An estimated thirty-two million, five hundred thousand people are in Christian CULTS. They pledge allegiance to a counterfeit gospel, walking around on spiritual death row and awaiting trial, all while claiming in this life, “I’m a Christian!”. Can you guess the words they’ll hear Christ say…? (Matt 7:21-23).
This estimate is only in reference to the cults whose doctrine I know well .This means, there's farrr more than 32.5 million souls being ushered into hell by their own Pastors. Can you imagine the horror they’ll be struck with when they meet the Christ we preach? The same Christ - who in this life, is the stone of stumbling to them and the rock of offense? (1 Peter 2:7-8).

We haven’t even considered the amount of people sitting in the pews of watered-down, heretical, progressive, legalistic, licentious, wolves in pulpit churches. Have you heard of the Oneness movement, Christian Science, Rastafarians, Christian Identity Movement, Black Hebrew Israelites, The Unification Church... Have you heard of the American preacher, Rev. Jim Jones and the Jonestown massacre? He was believed to be a "man of God" who convinced his followers into mass suicide... They believed they were Christians too... What about prophet T.B Joshua in Nigeria?... The list goes on for those who are being deceived and doing the deceiving, all while claiming to follow The Bible and be followers of Christ! But it's all out of context and apart from the Holy Spirit. We haven’t even considered those who have left the faith, deconstructed it, or have turned to new-age and witchcraft for some sort of meaning and purpose to life, when they grew up in the church, but saw no power. Or those who left cults and are now non-believers, wanting nothing to with "organized religion". They ALL know the name of the LORD JESUS, but their understanding of Him and God's Word has been distorted...
What about them? There is only ONE Gospel & Savior that saves (Galatians 1:6-8).
TRUTH AND STORIES, is our fishing net to reach these people and beyond. It's a movement to expose the doctrines of demons (the beliefs of said cults and the occult eventually) by sharing bold statements, Biblical truths and testimonies one tee at a time. God has given me a vision to reach people in cults - that's been birthed out of a series of dreams, grief, passion, prayer, radical faith and a fire fueled by my own testimony. I am the one sheep that Jesus has saved from pseudo-Christianity. I used to be a baptized member of a cult, myself.
We’re a Christian apparel brand that emphasizes the necessity of biblical literacy because we believe that CONTEXT matters! We’re not into the fluff, Christianese or cute quotes. The reality is - sound theology and a relationship with God can not be divorced from one another. While we enjoy what we do, we don’t exist to simply put more bible verses on closet hangers. We want to effectively initiate the uncomfortable conversations around TRUTH (through apparel) that we know will be controversial, because love means we are compelled to tell the truth about Christ. And telling the truth in this culture requires us to be bold.
At TRUTH AND STORIES, we believe in apologetics (contending for truth) through the art of storytelling (sharing our testimonies) and Christian apparel is our vehicle to do so. We want to magnify Biblical truths and through personal testimonies - cause people to look a little closer, search a little deeper, and see Christ more clearly.In our efforts to teach the text, preach the truth and share testimonies one tee at a time, we hope to stir the heart of the prodigal, love the religious into freedom, sound the alarm for those in cults and others who may be sitting under a counterfeit gospel. We want to make sure in everything we produce we’re committed to educating, equipping and exhorting the Body of Christ to live as a royal priesthood, showing others the goodness of OUR God (1 Peter 2:9). Our lives have to go beyond the pews! I guess you can call us a ministry.
There is only one gospel that saves (GALATIANS 1:6-12)

A Little Bit of My Story
*Gasp* - “did she really just say that?”. This is obviously not my stance but at some point in my life these are beliefs that I held dear to.
I used to be an Atheist.
Then at some point in time, when I was invited to Church (as an Atheist) I began to believe in the existence of God over time, in a way I was completely sure of but could not explain. As I attended services and Bible studies, I was taught to believe that Jesus was simply a man and the Trinity was a man-made doctrine. In order to be saved, one must be a baptized member of this Church and this Church ONLY in order to have their names written in the Book of Life. So? In believing that - I became a baptized member.
Around the time I converted to Christianity, my Mother had begun her journey in Islam.
This caused quite some tension between us. But, God used our conflicting faiths to provoke me to ask HIM the questions I had and that was because my Mother would ask me really good questions pertaining to my faith. And I mean really good questions. Questions that I wrestled with and had no answers to, so I brought them to the attention of my own Minister at the time and for every meeting we had in his office, were questions that still went UNANSWERED. All the while being taught that I wouldn't be able to read the Bible on my own without an ordained minister to give the interpretation/revelation.
But this man.. I mean "Minister", never. knew. anything…
I became unsettled in my soul as I began to wonder if there was such a thing as a true religion. Around this time I also entered into a season of my life where I had a heightened awareness of my sin and it made me sin-sick. I was in a constant losing battle with sin that grieved me. It made me superstitious any time I would sin, I had self-disgust and I got tired of living as a religious hypocrite. "If God exists, shouldn't I be different?", I often thought. Or feel different? But the only thing that had changed was that I had conviction of sin but with no power over it and I knew how to dress the part. Blending in with everyone else. I was taught time and time again, "We were God's chosen people! His Chosen Church in these last days!". But who the heck was God!?... I felt no closer to Him than what I did as an Atheist.
In the midst of brewing questions that left me frustrated and desperately alone, my hopeless battle of feeling sin-sick, and wondering if there was more to God than just Church led me on a quest. I begged God for “truth” for an entire year! Every worship service, twice a week. I said to Him -
“Lord forgive me for asking, because I believe this is your TRUE Church, but if its not... I'm begging you to show me - what is truth. Because I believe in my soul that something is missing and something is wrong”.
In His Mercy, God showed me I was a baptized member of a CULT called Iglesia Ni Cristo.
Now the story doesn’t end there and I'm not sure I can say, it begins here either. But it is indeed a very longgggg story.
And Because God has given me a story to share, it is why TRUTH AND STORIES exist.
Jesus is THE Truth we are all seeking, and for some unknowingly. I hope that through sharing the truth of who He is, what the scriptures say and my own story through this Brand, other's who are deceived by counterfeit gospels may come to see The King clearly, and ask Him the hard questions themselves.
More than anything I want other's to know our God is a relational and personal God. In order to know Him, we must know His Word and we must know it in CONTEXT!
